FINEWRAP / Material Guide

What Should You Check When a Film Is Called TPH?

Use the actual construction and documentation to evaluate a TPH proposal.

Ask for a construction description

Do not treat the letters TPH as a complete material specification. Ask the supplier to identify the actual base film and surface coating, and to provide the relevant technical data sheet. Avoid assuming a fixed TPU/PVC blend or a predictable performance tier from the commercial label.

Separate the questions

Which layer provides the color? What is the total thickness being quoted? What application method is specified? What tests support any healing or durability claims? Put these questions against the exact proposed product, rather than comparing a label with another label.

Evaluate a sample with the same documentation

Record the sample code and request a matching product sheet. Explain your intended vehicle, use and installation requirements. Agree how any accepted sample will be identified when discussing a later order. If the material or construction changes, ask for an updated sample and documentation.

For a OptimumWrap inquiry

The current online catalog lists TPU products. If you require a TPH option, describe the application and desired specifications; availability is confirmed in conversation rather than assumed for every color.
